Smart BMS, Bluetooth and monitoring

On the Ultimatron ranges, the presence of an intelligent BMS and Bluetooth enables precise monitoring: voltage, current, state of charge, alarms, protection, etc.
We like this approach because it allows :

validate the actual load (and not just “it says 13.6V so it must charge”)
diagnose charging chain problems more quickly (alternator / DC-DC / 230V charger / solar)
check the balance and stability of the pack after installation or after a period of immobilisation

Formats and vehicle integration (including sub-seating)

Depending on the layout, the space available and the ventilation, a battery in the right format (particularly under the seat) will optimise the installation without making any dangerous compromises. For certain applications (winter, mountains, prolonged parking), a version with integrated heating may also be appropriate to maintain the charge at low temperatures, depending on the configuration chosen.

Motorhome integration: our method (before, during and after)

A lithium installation cannot be installed “identically” to an AGM. Before installation, we systematically validate the complete chain.

Before installation: compatibility and sizing

We check :

230V charging: lithium-compatible charger, adapted charging curves, consistent power output
Charging while driving: alternator, charging method (often DC-DC depending on the vehicle), protection and sections
Solar: panel sizing, regulator (MPPT if necessary), roof cabling, waterproofing of passageways
Protection: fuses/cut-outs in the right place, consistent values, +/- secure distribution
Sections & lengths: limiting voltage drops, reducing heating points, protected routing
Installation: fixing, maintenance access, ventilation if necessary, mechanical protection

During installation: clean, logical wiring

We give priority to : legible wiring (marking), correct crimping, clean fixings protected distribution designed for actual use (12V, converter, accessories) avoidance of the usual do-it-yourself solutions: dominoes, badly crimped terminals, random weights, cross-sections that are too small, etc.
